FAQ

How to book a car ?

If you are a new client, book your car using the booking form available on our

website https://dolcar.auto.pl/book/

If you already are our client, book your car by phone, email or via booking form.

Who can rent a car?

Any person who is 18 years old or above and holds valid driving license category B and the other ID card can book a car.

What is a security deposit ?

This is the amount blocked on your card (credit or debit, Visa, Mastercard, American Express) for the rental period. The security deposit is returnable. The funds are unblocked when the car is returned undamaged.

Can I book a car on the day of its receipt ?

Yes. Remember however to contact our division by phone before booking to confirm availability of a car from a given class. Call our Infoline on (+48) 600 975 414 or (+48) 600 834 505.

Do I need to have a credit card to rent a car ?

No. Debit card is sufficient, but remember that using that card you can rent the cars from the (A ,B, C, C+, T and Cold Storage Cars) group. If you need a car from the ( D, D+, PREMIUM, SUV and SPORT) group, you will need a credit card.

What is the cost of rental ?

Rental prices depend on the selected class of car and date, place of rental and return. When using the booking form available at https://dolcar.auto.pl/book/ , you can see the cost of rental. The system calculates discounts and special offers automatically. When booking by phone or in the division, our employee will calculate the rental price and inform you about all included charges.

I don’t have a card. Can the other person pay instead ?

Yes. All you need to do is to inform about this fact during booking. If you book a car via our website, enter in the “Notes” field that the driver is different than payer.

Can car rental by a company be paid by bank transfer ?

Yes.

Can I use the rented car to go abroad ?

Yes. If you plan a travel abroad, inform us before receipt. Upon receiving a written consent, you can travel throughout all countries of the European Union. Travelling abroad requires a one-off charge of gross PLN 99, resulting from necessary equipping of your car in the items required in the other European states.

Can I rent a car from the civil liability insurance of the perpetrator ?

Yes.

Is it possible to extend the rental in the course of it ?

Yes. If you extend car rental by 24 hours, you can do it by phone. When the extension exceeds 24 hours, you must pay for it. You can do it personally in the division or calling the Infoline and providing your payment card data. The Infoline assistant will debit your card during phone call.

Can I waive the liability for damages to car suffered during the rental period ?

Yes, but you need to rent a car for at least 3 days.

What is the cost of waiving the administrative charge for damage ?

Cost of waiver from own liability depends on the car class. Price list of additional charges is available in the booking form.

Can I hold a foreign driving licence ?

As the holder of a foreign driving licence you can easily rent a car provided that your driving licence was issued in one of the following countries:
Albania, Austria, Bahamas, Bahrain, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Czech, Denmark, Democratic Republic of Congo, Estonia, Philippines, Finland, France, Greece, Georgia, Guyana, Spain, Holland, Iran, Ireland, Island, Israel, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Cuba, Kuwait, Lichtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, a, Macedonia, Malta, Morocco, Monaco, Mongolia, Germany, Niger, Norway, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Moldova, Republic of South Africa, Russia, Romania  San Marino, Senegal, Sessile, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Sweden, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uruguay, Uzbekistan, Hungary, Great Britain, Italia, Ivory Coast and Zimbabwe.
The exception is the persons holding a driving licence issued in the USA, Canada, Japan, Australia and Turkey, who also need to hold an international driving licence.

Are there any additional charges not included in booking price ?

We collect no additional charges. Total price is provided to you when booking the car.

If I book a vehicle, will I receive my selected car ?

We take all efforts to ensure availability of the selected car on the rental day, however if such car is unavailable, we will provide a car from the same or higher class and meeting all the criteria.

Can I receive a car at the airport ?

Our offices are located at the terminal or in its direct vicinity, depending on the city. After arrival and collecting your luggage, please contact us on the phone number provided in the booking confirmation. Our employee will deliver the car at the entrance to the airport.
