How can I reserve a vehicle?
If you are a new customer, we make reservations via the reservation form available on our website https://dolcar.auto.pl/book/
If you are already our customer, you can make a reservation by phone, email or via the reservation form.
Who can rent a vehicle?
A person who is over 18 years old and has a valid category B driving license and a second identity document.
What is a Deposit?
This is the amount that will be blocked on your card (credit or debit, Visa, Mastercard, American Express) for the duration of the car rental. The deposit is refundable. The funds on the card are unblocked if the car is returned without damage.
Can I reserve a vehicle on the day of its collection?
Yes. However, remember to contact our branch by phone before making an online reservation to confirm the availability of a car in a given class by calling the hotline at (+48) 600 975 414 or (+48) 600 834 505.
Do I need a credit card to rent a vehicle?
No. A debit card will suffice, but remember that with a debit card you can rent vehicles from the segment (A, B, C, C+, T, REFRIGERATED), if you need to rent a car from the segment (D, D+, PREMIUM, SUV and SPORT) you will need a credit card.
How much does rental cost?
Rental prices depend on the selected car class and the date, rental location and return. When using the booking form on the website https://dolcar.auto.pl/old/book/ you can immediately see how much your rental costs. The system will also automatically calculate discounts and promotions. In the case of a telephone booking or at a branch, our employee will calculate the rental price and inform you about all the fees that make up it.
I don’t have a card, can someone else pay for me?
Yes. Just inform us about it during the booking. If you book a car on our website, enter in the “Comments” field that the driver of the rented car will be a different person than the one making the payment.
Can car rental for a company be paid for by bank transfer?
Yes.
Can I drive a rented car outside Poland?
Yes. If you are planning a trip abroad, please let us know before picking up the car. After receiving written consent, you can travel to all European Union countries. Traveling outside Poland involves a one-time fee of PLN 99 gross, resulting from the need to equip the car with elements required in other European countries.
Is it possible to rent a car with the perpetrator’s third party liability insurance?
Yes.
Can I extend the car rental during its duration?
Yes. If you extend the vehicle by 24 hours, you can do it by phone. If you want to extend the rental by more than 24 hours, you will need to pay for the extension. You can pay in person at the branch or by calling the Infoline and providing your payment card details. The Infoline employee will collect funds from the card during the phone call.
Can I waive liability for damages to the vehicle during the rental period?
Yes, but you must rent the car for at least 3 days.
How much does it cost to waive the administrative fee for damage?
The cost of waiving the excess depends on the vehicle class. The price list of additional fees is available in the booking form.
Can I have a foreign driving license?
There is no problem in issuing a car to a person with a foreign driving license if the country whose driving license you will be presenting is on the list below:
Albania, Austria, Bahamas, Bahrain, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Democratic Republic of Congo, Estonia, Philippines, Finland, France, Greece, Georgia, Guyana, Spain, Netherlands, Iran, Ireland, Iceland, Israel, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Cuba, Kuwait, Lichtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, Macedonia, Malta, Morocco, Monaco, Mongolia, Germany, Niger, Norway, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Moldova, Central African Republic, Republic of South Africa, Russia, Romania, San Marino, Senegal, Seychelles, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Sweden, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uruguay, Uzbekistan, Hungary, Great Britain, Italy, Ivory Coast, Zimbabwe.
The exceptions are people with a driving license issued in the USA, Canada, Japan, Australia and Turkey, among others. They must also have an international driving license.
Are there any additional fees charged that are not included in the reservation?
We do not charge any additional fees. You will receive a full quote when you book the car.
When booking a given vehicle, will I receive the selected car?
We will make every effort to ensure that the selected car in the reservation is waiting for you on the day of delivery, but if this is not possible, we will provide a car from the same or higher class that meets all the criteria.
Can I pick up a car at the airport?
Our offices are located at the terminal or in its immediate vicinity, depending on the location. After landing and collecting your luggage, please contact the phone number provided in your booking confirmation, then an employee will come to pick you up at the entrance to the terminal.
